iPod featured in NY Times Magazine again

The New York Times Magazine featured on page 87 of this Sunday's issue (April 28) a page of the "Style" subsection featuring the iPod.

The page had above it a quote from Pilar Viladas saying: "Call it industrial baroque-the everyday object as fetish. These products are designed into oblivion, some with price tags to match" along with 6 other pieces of "industrial baroque" the iPod is the seventh along with such awe-inspiring products as the Vertu cellphone with sapphire crystal screen selling for $4,900-$19,450 and the Cartier roadster watch with a going price of $3,950. Oddly enough the price of the iPod was listed as only $399 without the mention of the extra $100 for 5 more GB.
